Part I

Music : 4/4

a/ 5th pos., r. front, entrechat quatre, royale (cts. I,2;) entrechat cinq with r. (back) ft., landing on l., r. raised behind l. calf (ct. 3) Hold ct. 4

Brush r. straight back, and jeté battu landing on r. (ct. 5). With l. (back) ft., assemblé dessus battu (ct.6). With r.( back) ft., brisé dessous finishing in 5th position, l. front, with a good demi-plié (ct. 7) and hold ct. 8

Throughout the arms are held in bras bas.

Second Section (Music 4/4)

a/ 5th pos., r. front. With r., assemblé dessous battu, closing r. back (ct. &1). Entrechat trois with l., finishing with it raised in back (ct. & 2). Coupé through 5th pos., brushing r. leg out in a low 2nd pos., and do a ballonné battu finishing with r. raised in back (cts. 3 & 4)

b/ jeté battu landing on r. (ct. & 5), glissade straight back leading with l. (ct. & 6), assemblé battu, brushing l. straight back, beating, and closing l. in 5th pos. front (ct. & 7). Hold ct. 8.

Repeat the entire enchaînement to the left.

Third Section

Music 3/4

a/ 5th pos. r. front. On the upbeat (“And”), brush r. ft. out in assemblé dessous, changing the épaulement to effacé, and closing r. ft. back (ct. & 1), hold ct. 2. Again with r. ft. , assemblé dessus, with the leg brushing into effacé back before closing, r. front (ct. & 3), and entrechat trois with r., finishing with r. slightly crossed behind left calf, and changing the épaulement to croisé, with left shoulder towards the audience (ct. & 4)

b/ leading with r. ft., glissade diagonally back, and cabriole in arabesque facing r. front corner and stretching l. arm forward, r. leg raised, landing on l. (cts & 5 & 6). Sweep r. leg around to 2nd position en l’air, at same time doing a tiny preparatory sauté on l. ft. and bringing arms to 2nd position; soutenu turn to the l. bringing arms up à la couronne (cts. & 7, & 8)

Repeat the entire enchaînement to the left.

During the entire a/ section, and during the glissade back, the arms remain down, in bras bas. They open on the cabriole.

Par ailleurs, est-ce que quelqu'un parmi nos lecteurs aurait déjà vu intégralement le ballet la Fête des fleurs à Genzano? L'on en donne régulièrement des extraits lors des concours à l'Opéra de Paris, mais il n'est jamais représenté en entier. En existerait-il un enregistrement?
