Hello,
Im so sorry about not writing in english since i'm from Spain. This is my first post.
I'm interested in getting / buying / lending a copy of the video from Preljocaj's spectacle "Paysage apres la bataille"(1997). This video was edited that year by France Supervision, CCN Region Paca with the participación of the Ministère de la Culture and the Festival d'Avignon.
It seems currently unavailable, only certain french librairies could have some copies. I don't know if it's going to be re-published in the near future. Maybe was actually published to non-commercial purpuse but cultural.
If somebody could help, please post me.
It's a long time since i'm looking for this spectacle and maybe this is the last chance to get any clue from that video.
Merci beaucoup.
alberto

Welcome Alberto!
Just an important thing : only DVDs or VHS legally purchased may be offered for sale.
If you need the video for artistic or educational purpose, for instance, I believe you should contact directly Angelin Preljocaj. You may certainly get some help.

Hello Haydn,
Thanks for your quick reply. In fact i think that 1997 edition was made to non-commercial uses, i mean only to be distributed to libraries or cultural centres.
There's not too many Preljocaj stuff on commercial dvd (recently were published Eldorado and Songe de Médée / Ceci est mon corps, to complete before Le Parc and the 1992 version of Romeo et Juliette).
Along the last years i've contacted to different choreographers and (at least here in Spain) they don't like to sell or share their creation unless you can certify you are into the dance scene as dancer, choreographer, technician or simply ruling some cultural dance-related centre. If you say them it's only to make a personal collection, they usually give no answer. I understand this (we are talking about artistic creation and authoring rights) but it's a shame that contemporary dance has not the same publishing interest as classical and it's so difficult to find pieces that have been left to performance years ago. Simply we can't enjoy and relive them.
Thanks Haydn for the Ballet Preljocaj contact address and phone. Anyway if anytime you (or anybody) know anything about that old edition and how to get it please don't hesitate to contact me.
Merci beaucoup and congratulations for your work.
