Robert Gabdullin, who is in the cast of Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, is apparently the new male soloist Manuel Legris was talking about in his press conference but whose name was not mentioned at that time.

Manuel Legris assistait hier à la Cinémathèque de la danse, à Paris, à la projection du film de Fabrice Herrault consacré à Claude Bessy (excellent film-portrait au passage, j'en dirai quelques mots plus tard, il le mérite).
Dans son petit discours préliminaire, Mademoiselle Bessy a du reste évoqué le festival des Etés de la danse (dont elle est présidente d'honneur), qui auront justement pour invité l'an prochain le Ballet de Vienne.

Tomorrow the annual Vienna Philharmonic Summer Night Concert will take place in the parc of Schönnbrunn castle. The concert will be broadcast in 60 countries.

The association Vienna State Opera Ballet and students of the ballet school of the Staatsoper will dance Viennese Blood (Johann Strauß), Dance of the Persian Slaves (from the opera Khovanschina by Modest Mussorgski) and La Mer (Claude Debussy).
The choreography is by the Austrian soloist Gregor Hatala, who is also the chairman of the association.
For La Mer there will be a stage on the pond in front of the Gloriette and underwater cameras will be used. (Some of the dancers said they would not mind if it was raining because they would get wet anyway )

Je ne sais plus si gaby avait signalé ce gala, mais Manuel Legris se produira avec Aurélie Dupont les 24 et 26 juillet dans le cadre du Festival viennois ImpulsTanz. Au programme, le pas de deux de Kylian, Il faut qu'une porte..., celui de Preljocaj, extrait du Parc, ainsi que des pièces de Neumeier, Patrick de Bana et Duato.

Natalie Kusch is 2nd cast for the role of Clara in Nureyev's Nutcracker in October. On June 23 she will participate in the Nureyev Gala 2012 performing the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet (ch.:Nureyev) with Denys Cherevychko.

Kimoto is scheduled to replace Sosnovchi in the Neumeier Bach suite on June 15th and 17th.

Dato will dance the main solo in Rubies (for the first time) on these 2 evenings, with Kusch and Papava.
Kusch and Dato had already danced together as one of the background pairs in the premiere last year, when Yakovleva and Sosnovchi had been the main soloist.
