Vienna solist Natalie Kusch is announced as one of the guest dancers at a ballet gala of the Queensland Ballet (Australia) in August.

Other guests dancers are Tomomi Sato and Tama Barry (Scottish National Ballet), Jón Vallejo and Chantelle Kerr (Semperoper Ballett Dresden) and Daniel Gaudiello (The Australian Ballet)

Tonight Coppélia by Patrice Bart with Dorothée Gilbert, Mathias Heymann and José Martinez will be shown at the Music Film Festival in Vienna. This festival is an outdoor event in front of the city hall. Admission is free.

There are some rumours about the programme of Les Étés de la Danse 2013 (Wiener Staatsballett):

July 4 - 6 Nureyev Gala
July 9 - 13 The Bat (Roland Petit)
July 16 - 20 Mixed Bill
July 23 - 27 Don Quixote (Rudolf Nureyev)

However, I cannot offer any guarantee for the correctness of this information.

According to serveral Austrain newspaper articles, Natascha Mair (17) won the first prize and Jakob Feyferlik (15) won the second prize at the Premio Romo Danza 2012.
Both were prepared and coached by Evelyn Teri, teacher at the Vienna Staatsballett ballet school.

They both seem to spend the summer travelling around the world and collecting prizes (Beijing in June, Rome now).

On the website of the Staatsoper the listing of the dancers has been updated for the new season, including Robert Gadullin (he is replacing Shane A. Wuerthner who has become soloist with the San Francisco Ballet) and Vera Sabantseva who is replacing Elisabeth Golibina.
Elisabeth Golibina had been promoted soloist in September 2010 and left the company in March 2012 for unknown reasons.

Karina Sarkissova is still listed as soloist. According to the Austrian newspaper ÖSTERREICH, though, it has not yet been decided if she will dance at the Staatsoper again after her unpaid leave (congé sabbatique) last season. The article says Karina Sarkissova has already contacted the employee representative of the Staatsballett in the matter. Furthermore, a couple of lawyers will examine if and for what reasons her contract can be terminated by the Vienna State Opera.

I have been told that the cast lists for "Romeo" in September contain Sarkissova as one of the gypsies (together with Papava and Sant'Anna). However, there is a second cast (and in the case of Sarkissova's role even a third cast), so the Staatsoper would not have a problem, if Sarkissova would decide not to appear at the rehearsals on September 3rd.

Unfortunately, there have been several similar cases at the Staatsballett recently, when dancers faced difficulties to get time off for guesting or projects outside the Staatsoper.
It is rumoured, for example, that corps de ballet member Maxime Quiroga had to leave the Vienna State Opera because he had insisted on dancing Albrecht in Cape Town this spring.

Yes, the rules for getting free days are very restricting at the Vienna Staatsoper, both for singers and for dancers. Even on performance days where they are not cast themselves, they have to be available for the case of short-term stepping in.
