NBS announced the complete programme for Vladimir Malakhov's gala A Gift from Malakhov - final next month. While Nadja Saidakova has withdrawn for the Staatsballett's reason, Olga Smirnova will be sure appearing to dance with Malakhov in the extract from act II of Swan Lake and with Semyon Chudin in Petit's Thaïs, Black Swan pas de deux and Diamonds (Balanchine). We will be also seeing Lucia Lacarra again for the first time in several years.

Half of those dancers, such as Kourlaev, Yakovleva, Poláková, and also de Bana, will be staying in Tokyo for Manuel Legris gala which will take place from 17 to 21 April (see above). |
Kirill Kourlaev, Maria Yakovleva, Nina Poláková have withdrawn from the casting as Kourlaev and Yakovleva have to replace the dancers who got sick/injured recently in Vienne and they can't spare enough time for the rehearsal for Apollo of de Bana. Natalie Kusch had been out of the casting for private reason and replaced by Kiyoka Hashimoto, who still remains in the casting. Dimo Kirilov Milev, former principal, Tamako Akiyama, principal, La Compañía Nacional de Danza, Spain, directed by José Martinez are newly in as to replace Kourlaev and Yakovleva. Patrick de Bana has to revise his Apollo a month before the premiere, and the role of Apollo's mother Leto is gone now.

Shinshokan will be releasing a new ballet class DVD featuring Mathieu Ganio and Alice Catonnet in late May. It's Gil Isoart who is giving the class as he was in the Dorothée Gilbert's.

Came out this info today that there will be a "Rencontre avec Brigitte Lefèvre" held by the Aichi Arts Center and the Chunichi Shinbun, a newspaper company, in Nagoya, just before the Japan Tour kicks off.

Some info from the interview with Aurélie Dupont in the latest issue of Shinshokan's Dance Magazine published today.
The next season, she will be dancing
- Marguerite in the season opening La Dame aux camélias with Hervé Moreau as Armand Duval in Septembre and maybe in the next Japan Tour in March 2014.
- in the creation of Saburo Teshigawara
- in Le Parc with Nicolas Le Riche
- not sure about Onegin as Nicolas Le Riche will not be dancing Onegin (maybe)
