The trilingual edition of Bournonville's
Etudes Chorégraphiques
has finally been published by Libreria musicale italiana
(www.lim.it), order from lim@lim.it
It contains the 1848, 1855 and 1861 versions of that work, in the French original, alongside the full text in Italian and English.
The editors are Knud Arne Juergensen, musicologist and curator at the Royal Library, Copenhagen, and Francesca Falcone, Professor at the National Academy at Rome.
Regrettably, the book is somewhat costly (80 euros). One hopes that the main music libraries in Europe will order copies.

We have also just received the just-published (2004) paperback edition of HITLER's DANCERS
by Lilian Karina and Marion Kant.
This is a completely updated version (and of course, translated into English) of the earlier 'Tanzen unterm Hackenkreuz' by the same authors.
What they have to say about Wigman and von Laban is, again, not precisely flattering.
