Enfin, sur le blog du Ballet national de Chine, on peut trouver des journals en choinois de XU Gang (maitre de ballet de la compagnie) qui accompagne les deux condidats Zhang Siyuan ( n° 99) et Ma Xiaodong ( n° 110) au concours de Varna.
Quelques informations extraitées des journals de Xu Gang:
- Le jury se compose de 17 personnes qui viennent de la Bulgarie (4), la France 1, la Roumanie 1, la Serbie 1, la Hollande 1, l'Italie 1, la Turquie 1, Etats-Unis 1, la Corée du Sud 1, la Pologne1, le Kazakhstan 1, le Japon 1 et la Chine 1 (Xiao Shuhuan). Grigorovich est président, mais pas plus de noms disponibles.
- 59 candidats seniors, y compris 9 russes, 7 coréens, 4 chinois, 4 japonais, 3 bulgares... etc. A noter qu'Alexandra Chulpan Mukhamedov (fille de Mukhamedov, ancien grand étoile du Bolshoi et du Royal Ballet ) fait partie du concours en représentant la Hollande.
- 54 candidats juniors.

Les deux jeunes danseurs de l'Opéra ont passé le premier tour hier soir, vers 22h, avec le Grand Pas classique. Verdict : Florimond Lorieux est éliminé, mais Léonore Baulac est toujours en course (remarque naïve : surprise, je pensais que cela fonctionnait par couple, pas par candidat).
Ils danseront le deuxième tour dans deux jours, un extrait de Giselle (acte II) et Moving Glass au programme.

Les medailles restent individuelles, mais il me semble que les candidats de Varna passent ou du moins peuvent aussi passer les epreuves en pas de deux... Il y a un prix du partenaire, je crois, en plus des medailles...

1.3. The maximum number of candidates to be allowed to take part in the 24th IBC-Varna shall be 100. After receiving the application documents of the 100th candidate the Organizer shall stop accepting any documents.
1.4. 30 dancers with the highest score from the First Round, but no lower than 18.00 points, shall be allowed to participate in the Second Round. Each group shall have a guaranteed minimum of 12 competitors, but with score not lower than 18.00 points.
1.5. 8 competitors from Group "A" - SENIORS and 8 competitors from Group "B" - JUNIORS with the highest score in the Second Round, but not lower than 19.00 points shall be admitted to the Third Round.
1.6. Competitors may participate in the Competition rounds either in couples or as soloists, but in both cases classification is done individually. Couples may be formed from members of the same or different age groups, i.e. one of the competitors may be from Group "A", the other from Group "B"
1.7. Competitors may participate also with a partner who is not a competitor at all, when they perform a pas-de-deux or contemporary choreography where more than one performer is required.

III. ADDITIONAL PRIZES
One prize from the "Nina Kiradjieva" Fund - US$ 200 for artistry of a Bulgarian dancer, who has received the highest score in the Third Round.
Two prizes for promising young dancers from Group "B" - Juniors awarded by Sylvia Co., Japan - US$ 1,000 each, one for girls and one for boys.
N.B.:
All proposals of legal or physical persons from Bulgaria or overseas for participation in the Competition Prize Fund with their own prizes to be awarded by the International Jury, shall be most willingly considered by the Organizer’s Management Board.
IV. BOUNTY AWARDS
A. FOR PERFORMANCE for participants in the Third Round:
1. For competitors who have not received any prizes or distinctions:
- One Bounty Award for achievements of a ballet couple from Group 'A" - Seniors - EUR 300 in total and two Certificates;
- One Bounty Award for achievements of a ballet couple from Group 'B" - Juniors - EUR 200 in total and two Certificates;
- One Bounty Award for partnership - EUR 150 and Certificate.
- One Bounty Award for the youngest competitor who participated in the Third Round - EUR 150 and Certificate.
2. All competitors who participate in the Third Round of the Competition, but are not granted any prizes or distinctions, shall get a diploma for dancer-finalist.
B. FOR CHOREOGRAPHY
1. For original contemporary choreography performed at the Competition, created in the last 5 years, i.e. after July 15th, 2005:
- One First Class Distinction - EUR 700 and Certificate;
- One Second Class Distinction - EUR 500 and Certificate.
2. For original choreography on music by a Bulgarian composer. The piece performed at the Competition should be choreographed in the last 5 years, i.e. after July 15th, 2005:
- One Distinction - EUR 500 and Certificate.
N.B.:
1. All awards are individual and indivisible.
2. The Jury shall not be under the obligation to grant all prizes, distinctions and bounty awards.
3. All prizes, distinctions and bounty awards shall be paid in Bulgarian Leva at the exchange rate of the Bulgarian National Bank on the day of payment, with the relevant deduction as per the existing Bulgarian legislation.
4. All prizes, distinctions and bounty awards shall be paid after the participation of the laureates in the concert on July 29th. The dancers included in the program of the Laureates' Concerts, who may choose not to take part in them, shall lose their right to any money award. |

A noter, chez les Seniors, la présence de Brooklin Mack, des USA. Il y a trois ans, j'étais tombée par hasard sur une de ses vidéos, sur You Tub, où il interprétait le Corsaire, c'était vraiment très très bien. Je ne peux pas vous mettre le lien car j'ai en ce moment une connexion 3G pour les vacances et parfois, ça rame...Mais allez sur le site et tapez son nom ou bien le Corsaire...Bonne chance à Léonore Baulac!

J'étais en vacances sans internet, donc je réponds maintenant.
Pour Enya : non, je n'ai pas eu les numéros de ZHANG Siyuan et MA Xiaodong. Mais il semblerait que les listes aient été publiées plus haut, non ?
Pour Haydn : je ne suis pas en relation complètement directe avec les candidats, mais les informations publiées sont sûres.
Florimont, qui semble quelque peu déçu, reste à Varna pour Mlle Baulac. Ils danseront ensemble Giselle (Acte II) et Moving Glass aujourd'hui.
Croisons les doigts pour Léonore!!!
