There are some interesting comments and some information in the interviews on Dance Magazine (novembre 2007), other than Loudières's Giselle clara-anne informed here in dansomanie.
Monique Loudières confessed that she had stopped dancing for three years before starting to prepare for this Legris's tour in February. She says that it was like a miracle that she could be back on the stage. It sure was a miracle for us, too!!! (The Onegin was just so much incredible.) Asked about the young dancers touring with, she says that it is very stimulating for her and it's really good to have met them, who are beautiful dancers.
She also tells that she has the feeling that she would like to go back to l’Opera National de Paris to help and lead the young dancers, however, she is now busy working as the directrice artistique and pédagogique of l'École Supérieure de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower.
Manuel Legris says that even he choreographed the Donizetti pdd, he does not have ambition to be a successful choreographer. The reason why he choreographed that pdd is that he simply thought that it is good to have another joyful grand pdd which requires high techniques like Le Corsaire or Don Quixote. Well, I didn't see any new sort of dance language in that pdd, but it was a well-assembled and enjoyable pdd to see. I think it would be a good idea for Gilbert and Ganio to dance this pdd when they have the opportunity to participate in some gala performance for some years to come.
He also says that he will continue to dance after the retirement from l'ONP.
So said Laurent Hilaire, too, in the interview. In fact, he has been keeping dancing after his retirement as we know. At the same time, he says he feels fulfilled and is enjoying helping young dancers.
Letestu tells that after having done La Dame aux camélias, she felt she got totally changed. And she says it's her (and Hervé Moreau) to be filmed during the next representations.
Dorthée Gilbert tells that she was so much delighted when she heard the news that she would do her first Odette/Odile with Manuel Legris. Then, she felt Odette was more difficult to dance than Odile and she didn't feel comfortable to do Odette in the way many dancers had done because she does not have a lithe or flexible body people always imagine when they hear "swan." So, she thought and decided to approach from another angle considering her own character, which I could see from the auditorium. Say, particularly the arms, as some people said that her arms did not look soft or lithe eough for the swan, though her arms were elegant and so emotional, but above all they looked strong, having strong will, to me. Some poeple might think it's wrong, however, the arms should represent 'wings,' not feather. I thought how she did was quite right. Her approach to Odette turned to be another good way of interpretation and I liked it very much.
By the time when she would do Odette/Odile in Paris, she will be more matured as a woman and as a dancer. I think you could wait in expectancy.
And also I have to mention Mathias Heymann here because it's his 20th birthday today.
Joyeux anniversaire à lui!!!

J'ai trouvé le site web de Junkudo la librairie (en français):

-------
FIGARO Japon has been running a series of articles titled "L'Opéra Garnier et le Ballet à Paris" since Septembre 20 (No.349). The article in the number of Octobre 20 (No.351), which is now in the bookstore in Japan, is about ballet romantique, especially on La Sylphide and Giselle with many photos from the stage performances of l'ONP. This series seems featuring Mathieu Ganio. It includes a short interview with him and most of the photos are him, as Albrecht in particular.

Quelque information sur le press.
Dance Magazine

This number is featuring English ballet, many photos from Ashton's "The Dream" performed by Alina Cojocaru and Steeven MacRea with Tokyo Ballet in october 2007, interviews, too, and the article on Birmingham Royal Ballet which is coming to Japan next month, January 2008, with "Beauty and The Beast" of David Bintley and "Coppélia" of Peter Wright. (information: http://www.nbs.or.jp/english/stages/0801_brb.html)
There is no article concerinig l'ONP.
DDD january 2008
There is a long interview with Sylvie Guillem who will be touring in Japan from 8 to 28 december 2007, which means from next week. This interview is quite interesting. She is talking about how she started to learn ballet in l'Ecole de danse (she says it just 'happened,' she has never dreamed of becoming a ballerina, (Gymnastics was much more fun for her,) though she loved the stage, that's why she became a dancer and also that's why she could say "no."), her present situation, her life and her view of dance and ballet.
There are also interviews with Russell Maliphant who will be touring with Guillem, and Akram Khan.
The information on the tour "Sylvie Guillem on Stage - An Evolving Legend":

The textbook has been reprinted and there is an advertisement of NBS on the last page which says that Manuel Legris will be invited to dance Albrecht in Giselle with Tokyo Ballet in september 2008. No other information provided yet, such as who will dance Giselle, nor the dates, though.
