Mathieu Ganio a dansé les 22 et 23 juillet derniers à Canton (Guangzou), en Chine.

C'est notre amie Aya qui me signale gentiment l'annonce sur le site du Ballet de Canton.

What a pity! I was taking my summer vacation from July 15 to August 6, spending most of the time in ancient towns in Southeast of China, far away from internet, and missed this event totally! Crying or Very sad

If I knew this news earlier, I should have planned a stop in Guangzhou for a few days during my vacation period...

From the news of Guangzhou Ballet webpage, we only know that the performance was a Gala for the 10th Anniversary of Guangzhou Ballet, as well as for celebration of the dancing career of the company’s principal dancer Miss Tong Shusheng. Mathew Ganio was invited to perform Swan Lake Act 3 with Tong. No further information available there.

Honestly, I'm like Enia, I cannot identify Mathieu Ganio on this picture. Perhaps it is a mistake, or two photos have been interverted.

After inquiring on Chinese ballet forum, I got the following pictures of the performances. From the pictures, we know that Mathieu Ganio danced with Tong Shusheng Swan Lake Act3 and Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux. However, I could not find media reports at the moment.
